By popular request I have now installed a forum on this website. There you can exchange views on HardlinkBackup, ask questions and get help. Apart from that I can still be reached under software@lupinho.net in the case of problems with HardlinkBackup and I will continue to respond to the comments on the blog pages.

Today version 1.0.1 of HardlinkBackup has been released. This is a pure bugfix release and contains no new features. Included are the following bug fixes:

• The directory filter now works correctly with included directories.
• It is checked whether the last saved position of the hardlink backup window lies within the visible area of ​​a connected monitor, otherwise the reset position.
• Fixed a problem that could lead to HardlinkBackup stops responding. This was the case when HardlinkBackup had no delete permissions in the backup destination directory. Then HardlinkBackup creates a file and a hardlink to check the support for hard links of the file system. Fails the deletion several times, it could come to the problem.
• Other minor bug fixes.
